Business Development Representative

We are looking for a well spoken and results-driven full-time sales representative in our Boston, MA office. This individual will seek out and engage customer prospects in addition to maintaining and expanding existing client relationships. 

About Being a Business Development Representative

In addition to handling event space reservations and responding to email inquiries, you will use self-generated leads to acquire new business. You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for customer needs in an effort to increase company sales, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.

What you will be doing

Your responsibilities:

  • Acquire new business through self-generated leads
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
  • Meet or exceed agreed upon quarterly and annual sales goals within schedule
  • Coordinate sales efforts with management, team members, and other departments
  • Routinely inform management by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, lead to customer conversion ratios, weekly work plans, etc.
  • Provide thorough and accurate project details to and work closely with production team, while meeting project deadlines
  • Assist and inform marketing team in inbound marketing efforts
  • Resolve customer complaints in a timely manner by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Keep abreast of best practices, new products, industry trends, current marketplace pricing
  • Recommend changes in product, services, and policies by evaluating results and competitive developments
  • Continuously improve through feedback
